Fengtian is now Shenyang. In the 14th year of Shunzhi of the Qing Dynasty (1657), the Manchu and Qing Dynasties intended to set up Fengtian mansion in Shenyang, also known as "Fengtian". In the 34th year of the Republic of China (1945), the Anti Japanese war was won, the Northeast was recovered, and the name of "Shenyang" was restored to "Fengtian city".
Shenyang, also known as Shengjing, the capital of Liaoning Province, has the reputation of "the eldest son of the Republic", "Dongfang Ruhr" and "the birthplace of one dynasty and the capital of two generations of Emperors".
Shenyang is located in the south of Northeast China, in the middle of Liaoning, at the foot of Changbai Mountain in the north, within the Bohai economic circle. It is the headquarters of the theater in northern China. It is a comprehensive hub city from the Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, Beijing Tianjin Hebei region to Kanto region. The total area of the city is more than 12948 square kilometers.
Shenyang is a famous national historical and cultural city and the most important heavy industrial base focusing on equipment manufacturing in China. It has won the titles of "national civilized city", "national environmental protection model city", "National Forest City" and "national garden city".
