The first flight took off from Shanghai Hongqiao Airport to Yantai, Shandong Province on the morning of July 18, 2005. At the beginning of its establishment, there were only three leased Airbus A320 aircraft, operating domestic air passenger and cargo transportation business and tourism passenger charter transportation business. The average occupancy rate of Spring Airlines reached 95.4%, becoming the airline with the highest occupancy rate in domestic civil aviation.
