There is no sound when the computer is connected to the TV. The most likely reason is that the sound in the computer is not transmitted to the TV, that is, it is likely that you use VGA cable to connect the computer host and TV (or VGA cable to connect the computer). If you must use VGA cable, you also need audio cable to cooperate. The audio cable is solely responsible for transmitting the sound on the computer to the TV.

There are generally two reasons why there is no sound when the computer is connected to the TV. One is that the TV does not support the output of computer sound. This type of TV is rare. When unsupported phenomena occur, it is generally caused by the damage of this function of the TV. This problem is not common. Another common no sound fault is the no sound fault caused by the connection problem between computer and TV.
There are three common ways to input computer signals into TV according to different connecting lines: VGA line, DVI line and HDMI line. The image resolution of VGA line output is low, and the signal only contains video signal, not audio signal. The image resolution output by DVI line is higher than that of VGA, and the data line can transmit video and audio signals at the same time.
The image output by HDMI line is high-definition signal, and the resolution is the highest of the three methods. Like DVI line, it can transmit video signal and audio signal.
